Genialidad musical compuesta por Jorge “Coco” Tafur y Maryna Pastor en Perú allá por el año 1987. Estaban en Lima y hacía calor, necesitaban refrescar el panorama y así lo hicieron a base de maleficios y amores satánicos. Así se las gastaban estos muchachos, de lo mejor que se puede encontrar en la red Internet a día de hoy.

Hace ya tiempo que los Despa postearon esta canción. Descubrir que en el pasado oculto de una teenager Rosario Flores, además de la película “Colegas”, existían perlas de esta índole, nos dejó consternados. Una oda nocturna al despecho que suena a Christopher Cross con mantón de Manila. El link de Desparrame parece haber dejado de funcionar así que he aprovechado para remasterizar el track y subirlo aquí. Esperamos que os guste… y ROSARIO, si estás leyendo esto, queremos que sepas que no tienes nada de que avergonzarte. No entendemos porque “Vuela de Noche” no aparece en tu biografía oficial.

Time ago, the Despa crew posted this song. Finding out this kind of material (besides the movie “Colegas”) in Rosario’s teenage files left us really shocked. A nocturnal ode to the spite that sounds like Christopher Cross with a “Mantón de Manila”. Desparrame’s link apparently stopped working, so I remastered the track and uploaded it here. Hope you like it… and ROSARIO, if you’re reading this, we want you to know that you dont have nothing to be ashamed of. We dont understand why “Vuela de Noche” is denied in your official biography.

Incluye covers de Alphaville, Kool & The Gang, Laura Branigan, Stevie Wonder… pero la que nos ha roto el corazon es esta version de la canción “All Night Long” de Lionel Richie. No hace falta decir que vamos a abrir con ella en el próximo guateque.

Our bodies are shaking after discovering this 1984 Lp from the Venezuela-based band Santa Paula. Includes covers from Alphaville, Kool & The Gang, Laura Branigan, Stevie Wonder… but the one that broke our heart was this Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long” version. Needless to say we’re gonna open with it at the next ball.
